Objective

The objective of Four Corners is for a team to out-drink the opposing team by fully finishing their beers first.

Gameplay

Do you enjoy college-spirited party games like Beer Pong but wished there were a slightly simpler version? Enter: Four Corners, a hilariously messy drinking game that will hoist up the spirits in no time!

The game begins with each player having a can of beer, but don’t drink it yet! Teams stand on opposite ends of the table facing each other, with their beers placed on the table corners (that’s where the name comes from!)

The first player throws the ping pong ball, aiming to hit an opponent’s beer can. If successful, the defending player must retrieve the ball and touch it to their own beer can while saying “stop.” Meanwhile, the throwing player chugs their beer until the defending player retrieving the ping pong ball yells “stop.”

Turns alternate between teams, with players from each team taking their respective turns.

Players can attempt to knock an opponent’s beer off the table. If successful, the opponent must start over with a new beer unless they catch the can before it hits the floor.

The game continues until one team has fully finished their beers. Cheers!

Endgame

The game comes to an end when one team has successfully consumed all of their beers.

Example / Demonstration

  • A Player from Team A successfully hits Player from Team  B’s beer can, and they must now retrieve the ball and touch it to their beer can while saying “stop.”
  • Meanwhile, The Player from Team A can start chugging their beer until The Player from Team B completes the task.
  • In the next round, the second players from each team continue as described above.
  • The rounds alternate until one team has finished their beers.

Four Corners Variations and Alternate Rules

  • Flip Test Variation: Players can opt to do a “flip test” to determine if their beer is empty.
  • Table Knock Variation: Players can decide whether or not knocking an opponent’s beer off the table is allowed.

Four Corners Tips & Strategy

  • Accuracy Matters: Aim carefully when throwing the ping pong ball to maximize your chances of hitting an opponent’s beer can.
  • Communication is Key: Coordinate with your teammate to ensure efficient gameplay, especially during the “stop” phase.
